It appears to me as if the fan was not ordered on the day the order was placed and most likely from the runaround I've been getting, the order was not placed until this week...especially since Chris told me today that the order was supposedly shipped on 6/28. If your business actually placed the order week before last, it's hard for me to believe that a company would not ship the order until 10 days later.
I asked this company to download a new Quickbooks for me. They asked for my credit card and ran it through and in so paid a ROGUE company (scammer) for Quickbooks. When I tried to verify the licensing Quickbooks didnt work-I called the no. on the receipt and the ROGUE company number was obviously incorrect. I then took in my laptop to try and get Techbox to sort it out - they battled and finally told me the amount of hours they worked on my laptop to remove the rogue download that they did would cost me the same amount to pay them for the labor as the amount they paid the rogue company for Quickbooks using my card. Hence I paid out $125 and got nothing, no quickbooks. Interesting that they would be fine with charging me to fix a problem they created. This took 2 weeks of me driving back and forth- no reply from them to my emails -I couldnt face argueing with them any more so I realize I am out of $125 - paid for nothing. You would think that a professional company would CHECK who they pay with clients credit cards before just randomly paying any link on Google- there are a ton of scammers out there but this is not what you would expect from a professional team of people who work with this every day. I was really disappointed.
A couple of days after the order was placed, I had a voicemail left by John to call the shop. When I called to speak with John, he didn't know who I was or even that I had placed an order. I have called every several days since then and each person I talk to says they don't know when the fan will arrive. Last Tuesday I was told that the fan was expected in that day or maybe the next day. Today I called and Chris said that the fan was shipped on 6/28 but he didn't know when it would arrive.
This was a total rip off!!!! My computer was there from Dec 1-19. I ended up picking it up after $50 for them to look at it. Communication was terrible! They told me one thing and then said they did not think it would work. Since it is not worth they investment, i told them not to go forward. One of the guys offered to try something he thought might work. They would tell me it was be fixed the next day and then they would not call me for 3 days.. I would call back and they said again it would be ready, but nothing... I just gave my computer to my friend's boyfriend to look at. He said it had not been touched from Dec 4-17. Basically, a disaster in how things were explained to me!!!
Great family friendly business. Always looking out for their customers. They really know their stuff!
If there were issues with the order why wasn't your staff notified, and if they knew, why didn't they call to tell me? Don't you think that you should be giving me an update on the situation rather than me calling your business every few days. and being told by the person who answered the phone that he didn't know anything about it and I would have to talk to another person who didn't seem to know much either.
I have called at least 6 times and spoken with various members of your staff and I get the same reponse....I don't know anything.
I too have been getting the runaround. I ordered a fan for my HP laptop over two weeks ago and still am waiting for it.
