Nice facilities but an absolutely abusive registration charge to join. I can easily afford it but I simply will not throw my money away on garbage charges..
My visit here is always good to my satisfaction. The workers are very professional, friendly and respectful. And always ready and prepared to work with their clients. I will recommend Powell Wellness Centers to anyone who needs therapy. Job well done.
Large spacious fully equipped gym, pool including a river with artificially generated current, steam room, and of course, my personal favorite, the hot tub. Gym provides clean towels. Family swim days on Tues and Fri from 6 to 8 PM and on Sundays. Clean locker rooms include hot showers where all amenities are provided. group courses available, many at no extra charge. Massage services and personal trainers available for an extra charge. Silver Sneaker memberships are accepted. My only complaint is their short weekend hours.
I went to renew my membership! They offer a large variety of exercise machines, water arobic and other enticements. Best in Culpeper,VA.
If you have kids, the kids rate here is so much better than Golds in Culpeper. Two free hours every day of daycare with the family membership. Also have kids camps, kids pool hours, kids zumba, etc. If you're a single person who doesn't care about access to a pool, or a huge variety of classes, try anytime
