This place is great and spacious, with lots of good deals. Both brand and generic or house brands. You save more on the non branded items. Lots of good deals and overall cheaper than most chain stored out in this area. They usually have a wait of a few customers to check out. No deli counter. Prepackaged meat and good deals on eggs. Often eggs,.30 cents to .50centd per a dozen.
Haven't had much luck with their shopping app (not the location's fault).
New grocery store chain of German ownership. Great prices on both private and national brands with many unique items. Great beer and wine selection but mostly unknown brands. In-store bakery makes great breads and rolls. Fresh produce section is always well stocked. Visit weekly to find great deals on special buy merchandise such as clothing, tools, etc. My only complaint is that they are only open until 8PM.
Clean grocery store with wide aisles and a nice layout. Lots of organic/natural offerings and their produce section is excellent. Prices have been pretty good for most items. Staff has been friendly and helpful for the most part.
Nice store, interesting items, nice little bakery, clean, good prices. Bag yourself is my only real complaint. I don't mind bagging, but they have it organized so you have to do it in the check out lane which is not optimal.
Ice cream, they offer a generic Ben and Jerry's, with recognizable flavors. It's tasty but not the same. Ypu do save about 1.50 to 2.00 per pint. They also carry non food items from clothes to diy furniture. Currently they have clarinets, trumpets and flutes for 99$ and they are nice and elementary or Xmas ready gifts. Parking lot can be crowded and laid out with one way entrances and exits.
My wife and I drove about 20 miles to shop at this Lidl since there will be one just down the road from us. We also want to see how much it compares to the ones we have gone shopping in when we lived in Germany. Close but still not the same. I wish that you could buy the exact same products that you find in Germany (canned and boxed goods etc.) in the stores here that way you will be getting a real choice of the food you want to eat. We still liked the store though and we did pick up a few items that we wanted and have not found in some of the other stores we shop at. Prices are reasonable to any of the other stores we shop.
